Open Labs and Workshops

Here you will find an overview of open labs and workshops in Hamburg. There are different ways to become active in the workshops, from club memberships to day tickets. Some machines require an introductory workshop before use, other devices can also be put into operation directly. The information about the equipment of the labs and workshops, their machines, tools and devices are gradually being integrated into the 'Fab Map', made available for filtering and maintained by the organizations involved.

About this place
HoFaLab has been “Your Hobby Fab Lab in Wilhelmsburg” since 2019, a place for creative production and artistic research. HoFaLab e.V. is aimed at (media) artists, hobbyists and anyone interested in learning how to use technology in everyday life in a self-determined and responsible way. To this end, we promote the acquisition of new technologies and production methods in workshops in the neighborhood.
